	Welcome to the Gackle, ND website. The duck hunting capital of the world is the home of many friendly people. We are located on the beautiful prairie in south central North Dakota. The recreational opportunities include hunting, fishing, boating, 9 hole golf course, and much more.

Dani's Place! Saturday, August 21st at Dani's Place in Gackle, there will be great food and great entertainment. Starting at 5 pm is the 19th annual steak fry, and at 9 am the 3rd Coteau Jam kicks off in their parking lot under the stars (bring you own lawn chair!!!). Featuring the "Mayor's Madmen," led by the mayor of Gackle himself, Ritchie Jacobson, you'll be listening to classic rock all night long. And at midnight, there's FREE brats and hamburgers. So come on out, have some great food and have a rockin' good time! Chicken BBQ! The annual Gackle Lions club Chicken BBQ is Sunday, August 22nd at the A.F. Lehr park, in Gackle. Serving starts from 11 am to 1 pm. The cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children. So come and enjoy some great tasting BBQ and help support the Gackle Lions club!

Gackle Farmer's Market is back, starting on July 17 in the A.F. Lehr park, as member the North Dakota Farmers Market and Growers Association and sponsored in part by the Dakota Heritage Bank and Allied Agronomy. This year's market includes all your favorite fresh produce and baked goods, along with more specialty items like kuchen, finnish flatbread, sauerkraut, biscotti, chevon, and natural beef.
